Secondlife.com facelift
Yesterday we talked about There.com, Lively and Second Life. Today, SecondLife announced that the team is testing a new home page this week.

There.com - another virtual 3D world
I have notice an ad with there.com on it and an invitation to join this virtual There community.
Obviously, I have made a little research and I have found that the website is quite old, starting back in December 24, 1997 as The Anonymizer, a free proxy website (surf the web anonymously-like website), an anonymous point of access for all of you who cannot visit different websites from work. Yeah, something like hidemyass.com :-)

Usually I work only with my own scripts. I know, I’m not perfect and I’m not supposed to do this but I have an issues trusting other coders.
One of my big problems is choosing the right colors so that’s why my css (or the entire design) is borrowed but that’s it. In all my former projects I have done all my php scripts by myself, from scratch, using no framework at all. Also, I have tried to avoid complicated javascript code.

Upgrade to WordPress 2.7 is a must!
I just waited to see if this new version of WordPress is stable and I see a lot of A-list bloggers that updated his online homes to 2.7.

Copy/paste php code in Wordpress articles
When I wrote about the fastest way to create a rss feed using php and a mysql database in 30 minutes, I have told you that I’ll find a plugin to paste the code directly into wordpress and I did find one. Actually there are 2 plugins. Just read and you will see why.
The first one, Syntax Highlighting WordPress Plugin it’s good choice if you will not paste html code. As you may see in this post, SH WP Plugin worked for me just fine, although it had a little error when I used the title tag. This being told, please remove the space in the title tag :-p.
Is there a roadmap to become a successful blogger?
I don’t know yet, seems to me that I must read a book to find out! If you ask me, I’ll say that for a good start there are 5 tips only. But let’s rewind to the beginning.
About 2 weeks ago I have subscribed to this list of bloggers. Most of them are not fresh meat for my Google RSS Reader but in the last year I didn’t have the time to read their posts so “unsubscribe” was the best solution at that time.
About 1 month ago, before starting this new blog, I have unsubscribed to a lot of blogs (covering other languages than english) that were worthless and in this way I have found new spots for adding the top 10 Internet Marketing Blogs.
If VLC could convert files…
… I would be the happiest man around because VLC Media Player 0.9.6 is the best player I have ever used because it plays ANY video file I want, even the temp files that DC++ is using :-).
Anyway, as you will see I also use VLC to relate good news. :-)
