Is there a roadmap to become a successful blogger?

I don’t know yet, seems to me that I must read a book to find out! If you ask me, I’ll say that for a good start there are 5 tips only. But let’s rewind to the beginning.

About 2 weeks ago I have subscribed to this list of bloggers. Most of them are not fresh meat for my Google RSS Reader but in the last year I didn’t have the time to read their posts so “unsubscribe” was the best solution at that time.

About 1 month ago, before starting this new blog, I have unsubscribed to a lot of blogs (covering other languages than english) that were worthless and in this way I have found new spots for adding the top 10 Internet Marketing Blogs.

If VLC could convert files…

… I would be the happiest man around because VLC Media Player 0.9.6 is the best player I have ever used because it plays ANY video file I want, even the temp files that DC++ is using :-).

Anyway, as you will see I also use VLC to relate good news. :-)

The first one is about a book, a SEO book, The Non-profit Guide to Search Engine Marketing. It contains a lot of useful information and PeterD also succeeded to put together some extraordinary SEO tools.

The second news is a financial one, related in a way to the actual international financial crisis.

Logistics software provider Descartes Systems Group said it had net income of $2.3 million in the quarter ending Oct. 31, compared to $1.7 million in the same period the prior year. Revenues for the quarter were $17.0 million, up 10 percent from $15.5 million during the same period the prior year.
