I need to find the best websites to display downloadwin.com banners so I came up with this 2 types of needs.

Downloadwin.com’s needs

DownloadWin.com needs (in terms of editor’s profile) early adopters, bloggers are preferred (thinking about blogs like a good tool to back-link to their own generated content), good online readers (needed for research), enough free time to write about software and take a good attention to details.

Also, downloadwin.com needs internet users that must understand that this things may happen:

Downloadwin.com is finally in beta. That means it has some unfinished sections and others are being tested in this very moment, but guess what! The adsense share revenue program is up and running and the platform can be used to make money.

Editor’s needs

Editors needs money. And fast. :-) I believe that they will also need the proof that they are in the right place, the network environment will change in a good way for them and they will be able to grow in terms of popularity and influence. All this kind of so called power will direct themselves in the end to a higher rate of revenues, obviously :-). Why?

I think that once the website will have let’s say 100 editors, there will be ~1000 software to be downloaded into the database and at least 50 reviews. These numbers are pretty optimistic but in that moment or in a similar one, the website will start to change step by step and it will turn into an editor challenge contest based on the tools that editors will have to promote on the first page of the website their own content.

And there will be blood :-). The best review writers, the best uploaders or the best feedback users TOPs and excerpts from all user’s content will populate the first page and the pages with the higher traffic. These will be the weapons that will separate the core of the community from the rest of it by authority and revenues.

Where do I find these users?

This being told, the question is where do I find these users? I do have a blog and I trust in the blogs power. So let’s try to find out where it will be possible to invest $$$ during this financial crisis.

He writes about how to make money. That means readers are in a continuous search for revenues and downloadwin.com is also a revenues source for them.

Well. This blogger is, in my opinion, a real candidate to one of the best future downloadwin.com’s editors! Cross my heart and hope to die :-)

So he sells sponsored reviews for $20 but he accepts 125×125 sidebar banners with this rates:

I do not trust this guy. He says that he has more than 4000 uv/day. Using Alexa and taking into consideration that ecostin.com (my other blog, in romanian language) has ~1800 visitors/day, I say that Garry is hiding something.

I’m tired of browsing reviewme.com. That’s how I have found all these guys (2,3,4 and 5). The last 3 guys have a $250 reviewme.com price, but on their blogs the product seems to be cheaper.
